Palo Santo is a mystical tree that grows on the coast of South America and is related to Frankincense, Myrrh and Copal. In Spanish, it means ”Holy Wood”. It is part of the citrus family and has sweet notes of pine, mint and lemon.

Palo Santo is traditionally used for relieving common colds, flu symptoms, stress, asthma, headaches, anxiety, depression, inflammation, emotional pain and more.

Using Palo Santo is really very simple. You can use it either to clear a space of negative or unwanted energies; for meditation; or for cleansing your crystals. Take one stick and light it with a candle, match or lighter. Allow the Palo Santo stick to burn for 30 seconds to a minute, then carefully blow it out.
